Professor Christobel Saunders
Christobel Saunders is a Consultant Surgeon at Royal Perth, St John of God Subiaco and Fiona Stanley Hospitals, and the Western Australian Melanoma Advisory Service in Perth, Western Australia. She is Professor of Surgical Oncology, Head of Unit General Surgery and educator of surgery at The University of Western Australia.

Lee achieved his fellowship in General Surgery in 2003, and then immediately proceeded to become the first Breast fellow at Royal Perth Hospital under the leadership of 2 pre-eminent Perth surgeons, Mr Peter Willsher and Prof Christobel Saunders.
He then had the opportunity to spend almost 5 years at the Nottingham Breast Institute in the UK, to further develop skills in breast surgery and especially breast reconstruction including a variety of both partial and complete breast reconstruction.
On returning to Perth he took on the challenging role as Head of the Multidisciplinary Breast service for the South Metro Health service, aiming to combine the Royal Perth Hospital service with the newly opened Fiona Stanley Hospital Breast service.
Although continuing with general surgery; along with his surgical partners at Perth Specialist Breast Care, he has a special interest in the care of patients with breast diseases especially breast cancer and particularly with breast preserving procedures, as well as partial and complete breast reconstruction.
Dr Wen-Chan Yeow is a local University of Western Australia graduate who has completed two years post fellowship training in Breast and Oncoplastic surgery. The first year was at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in 2009, followed by another year at the world leading cancer centre, The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, London.
She also worked a year as a locum consultant at The Marsden before returning to Perth in 2012 to start her practice as a Breast and Oncoplastic Surgeon. Her interests are: surgical techniques to reduce the potential gross deformity following breast conservation surgery, breast reconstruction following mastectomies, and symmetrising the contralateral breast either with reduction or augmentation. She offers a full spectrum breast cancer and benign breast disease surgical care and follow up.
She is a current Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Western Australia and has a public appointment at Fremantle Hospital.
Dr Yeow is also available for General Surgical cases such as Laparoscopic cholecystectomy, inguinal/femoral/umbilical hernias, lymph node biopsies, skin lesions etc.
